Casey DeBolt, LCSW-C

Hello and welcome! I’m so glad you’re here!

I am eager to collaborate with you on your path to healing, providing compassionate support and empowering you to navigate life's challenges with resilience and strength.

My background and career experience…

My journey into the realm of mental health began during my undergraduate studies at Salisbury University, where I initially embarked on a path in marine biology. However, a transformative psychology course during winter break ignited a profound passion for mental well-being within me. This pivotal moment inspired me to pivot my studies, ultimately leading me to graduate with a degree in Psychology from Towson University.

Straight out of university, I dove headfirst into the field of mental health at Key Point Health Services, starting as a residential rehabilitation counselor. Working closely with adults facing challenges like anxiety, schizophrenia, and depression, I quickly discovered my knack for empowering individuals to see beyond their diagnoses and reclaim their sense of self.

Over time, I transitioned into roles such as a psychiatric rehabilitation counselor, deepening my understanding of the complexities surrounding mental health. Throughout my journey at Key Point Health Services, I've always believed in the power of empowering individuals to live fulfilling lives, free from the constraints of labels.

Continuing my quest to make a difference, I pursued my master's degree in social work at Salisbury University while working with the State of Maryland Department of Social Services. Along the way, I gained invaluable experience working with individuals struggling with addiction and delved into geropsychology, expanding my expertise in supporting diverse mental health needs.

My experiences have helped me to cultivate a diverse skill set that has deeply informed my approach as a Social Worker. From navigating complex cases to fostering resilience and empowerment, I've developed a keen ability to address the needs of vulnerable adults. My commitment to providing holistic case management services, coupled with my expertise in advocacy and resource linkage, reflects my unwavering dedication to guiding individuals towards healing and self-sufficiency.

About my approach:

My aim is to cultivate a space where you can freely express yourself without fear of judgment, knowing that your thoughts and feelings are respected and valued. Together, we'll foster an atmosphere of trust and openness, allowing for meaningful exploration and growth. I look forward to walking alongside each of you on your journey to healing, helping you discover your inner strength and resilience as you embark on a path towards a healthier and more fulfilling life.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with family, friends, getting outside, and reading. I find it helpful spending time doing what makes you happy as a way to truly clear your mind and be present in the moment. Maintaining a balance between work and personal life is important to me.
