Insurance Coverage for Individual Therapy

At our counseling practice, we strive to make mental health care accessible to all. We currently accept insurance plans from Aetna, United HealthCare, and most BCBS/Carefirst plans. Please note that we do not participate in the Maryland Medicaid Managed Care Program. If you have any questions or need further information regarding insurance coverage and your specific benefits, please feel free to contact us. We are here to assist you on your journey to wellness.

Out of network Benefits for Individual Therapy:

Did you know many insurance plans have out-of-network benefits?

We encourage you to reach out to your insurance company directly to inquire if your insurance plan offers out-of-network benefits for individual therapy. If it does, We can provide a Superbill for your session that you may submit to your insurance company for partial or full reimbursement.

Reduced Fee:

We have a few slots open for a needs-based reduction in fee. Eligibility is determined based on a consideration of your financial and therapeutic needs, as well as your therapists current caseload and ability to accommodate the fee reduction.

Payment

We accept all major credit cards and HSA cards as forms of payment. A credit card is required to remain in your file.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session.
