Madelin Myers, LMSW

Hello and welcome...

Some of the most meaningful parts of our lives can also be the hardest to talk about. Whether you’re feeling anxious, disconnected from yourself, struggling in your relationships, questioning your identity, navigating intimacy, or simply feeling like something is “off,” therapy can offer a space to slow down, make sense of your experiences, and reconnect with yourself without shame or judgment.

Maybe you’ve found yourself stuck in patterns you don’t fully understand, overthinking every interaction, feeling disconnected from your body, or wondering why relationships continue to feel so difficult. You don’t have to figure those answers out alone. Therapy is an opportunity to become more curious about yourself, better understand your experiences, and create meaningful change.

My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are. I want therapy to feel like a place where you can take a deep breath from the pressure of having everything figured out and instead spend time exploring yourself with curiosity, compassion, and honesty.

My approach is deeply relational because I believe healing happens through the connection we build together. As we work collaboratively, we’ll explore the patterns that have shaped your life while also developing practical tools to help you communicate your needs, navigate relationships with greater confidence, regulate your emotions, and feel more connected to yourself and your body.

I know that talking about vulnerable topics—especially sex, intimacy, identity, or relationships—can feel uncomfortable at first. It’s completely normal to feel unsure of where to begin. My hope is to create an environment that feels warm, down-to-earth, and free from judgment, where there’s room for honesty, uncertainty, laughter, and the conversations that may have always felt too difficult to say out loud.

Together, we may explore the patterns behind your emotional reactions, better understand the needs beneath difficult emotions, reconnect with your body, strengthen your ability to communicate openly, move through anxiety and overthinking with greater confidence, and develop a deeper connection with yourself, your relationships, and the life you want to create.

How I Work

I take an integrative, client-centered approach that recognizes how our identities, relationships, past experiences, and environments shape the way we understand ourselves and move through the world. I incorporate mindfulness, somatic practices, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and psychodynamic approaches to help clients gain insight while also building practical skills that support lasting change.

As a yoga teacher, I have a deep appreciation for the connection between the mind and body. Our bodies often recognize what we’re experiencing long before we have words for it. Learning to notice and understand those signals can help us better navigate our emotions, strengthen our relationships, and reconnect with ourselves in meaningful ways.

My hope is that our work together helps you feel more grounded, more compassionate toward yourself, and more confident in navigating life’s challenges. Therapy isn’t about becoming someone different, it’s about feeling more connected to who you’ve always been.

Outside of the Therapy Room

When I’m not working with clients, you’ll likely find me cuddling with my cat, Lola, exploring a new coffee shop, going on unnecessarily long walks (and convincing myself every destination is walkable), practicing or teaching yoga, or belly laughing with my friends. I’m also the oldest daughter…which probably explains a lot.
